DMCI Homeowners create blissful moments
The beauty of living in DMCI Homes' resort-themed residential communities was highlighted in the latest edition of the property developer's photo contest for homeowners.
Photos of streaks of colorful lights made by passing cars in the main street of Raya Garden at night and a four-month-old baby lifted in the air by her dad at a Cedar Crest garden as mom watches best depict the experience of living in a DMCI Homes community. They earned the top prizes in the contest.
The Raya Garden scene captured by resident Don Jose Machuca won first prize in the contest's "Theme & Spaces" category while the Cedar Crest photo from couple Francine Landrito and Romano Eusebio topped the "Generation" category.
DMCI Homes VP for Property Management Ana Maria Ferrer and Senior Marketing Manager Jan Venturanza awarded cash prizes and plaques of appreciation to each winner during a ceremony held at the Sky Lounge of Flair Towers, DMCI Homes' twin high-rise residential condominium in Mandaluyong City.
Prizes and plaques were also handed to each of the two first runner-up winners in the two categories - Joseph Victorino of Tivoli Garden Residences and Michael Cabrales of Riverfront Residences. Second runner-up winners were Michele Nuez of Riverfront Residences and Howard Victorino of Tivoli Garden Residences.
DMCI executives say all the photos submitted by homeowners make the company proud as they are testaments of families and individuals living happily in their communities.
"The contest also gave homeowners a sense of pride in belonging to a DMCI Homes community, where the homes and amenities are beautiful and neighbors are good," Venturanza said.
Machuca, a professional photographer and designer, said his photo titled "Main Street" gives a different take on the beauty of Raya Garden, where he, his wife and their five-year-old son have been living for the past two years.
"I like Raya Garden because it is safe. As soon as you enter the property, you no longer have to worry," said Machuca of the five-building residential community in Paranaque City. "I also like the swimming pool and the gym."
For Landrito, their winning photo titled "Making happy memories every day" would be memorable for their daughter, Carline Brielle.
"As a first-time mom, I felt excited for our daughter because when she grows up, she will realize she won in a photo contest," said Landrito, who also joined the same contest in 2012 and became a monthly winner.
Like the Machuca family, Landrito and Eusebio feel secure living in a DMCI Homes community.
"Cedar Crest is also child-friendly and my parents love the greens and other amenities," she said, referring to one of the condominium communities in Acacia Estates, Taguig City
